Founded by The Flagship Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia in 2005, Heroes at Home is a highly regarded, regional recognition program that honors military spouses from all ranks and all branches who make important contributions to the military community, local civilian communities, and country.
Our recognition program is unique in that the honorees are selected based on merit. All nominations are reviewed and scored by an independent panel of judges who are either former recipients of the award or individuals/business representatives with strong ties to the military community.
