Battlefield Hardline is an upcoming first-person shooter video game that features a new variety of gameplay that breaks away from the traditional Battlefield game modes. The focus of the game has been shifted to police and the “war on crime,” breaking away from the military setting that previously characterized the series. As such, the main factions in Hardline are the police Special Response Units and criminals.

The multiplayer experience focuses on team play and strategy and adds a new dimension of speed, making it the fastest Battlefield game ever.

Players will have to create new strategies on the battlefield with faster getaway methods like the zipline and muscle cars, or new entry tactics with the grappling hook and non-lethal takedown options like arrests, interrogations and stun guns.

Story Mode

Miami is embroiled in a drug war and Officer Nick Mendoza has just made Detective. Alongside his partner, veteran detective Khai Minh Dao, he follows the drug supply chain from the streets to the source. In a series of increasingly off-the-books cases the two detectives come to realize that power and corruption can affect both sides of the law.

Multiplayer

In multiplayer, the world is simple. You’re on one side of the law or the other - a baton or bat, stun gun or rifle, armoured police truck or powerful muscle cars. But either way, teamwork is going to be essential if you’re going to want to pull off that perfect heist or big time bust in this new take on Battlefield multiplayer.

Players can also experience the Battlefield franchise’s signature mode Conquest in Dust Bowl, with epic battles for up to 64 players.

In addition, many new game modes are featured in Hardline, for instance: Heist, Blood Money, Hotwire Mode, Rescue and Crosshair.
