Gerrold Walker

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic recognized Gerrold Walker as its Civilian of the Year for fiscal year 2017. Walker accepted the distinction remotely while on assignment in Washington D.C. during an awards ceremony broadcast command-wide via VTC on Dec. 13.

Working as a scientist for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR) Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia since April 2007, Walker is also a John Yeates High School graduate and Lexington, Virginia native.

“I am very humbled to be recognized for this award and truly blessed for the opportunity to work with such talented, dedicated, and committed people at SPAWAR in support of our service men and women in the military,” said Walker.
