Wrestling legend Brutus 'The Barber Beefcake

Wrestling legend Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake will meet fans on April 29 at The Salvation Army Community Center in Suffolk.

Vanguard Championship Wrestling (VCW) will present a fundraiser event at The Salvation Army Community Center in Suffolk on April 29. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Salvation Army.

Wrestling legend Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake will be at the event to meet the put his title on the line against Big Sean Studd in the main event. Studd is the son of the late WWE Hall of Famer Big John Studd. Studd has made unflattering comments as of late about WWE legends such as Hulk Hogan and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. “The Barber” will be sure to confront Studd to address those comments in person.

At the April 1 VCW event in Norfolk, The Hellcats lost their VCW Tag Team Championships to the team of Phil Brown and JJ Blake. At this same event, Noise Pollution were illegally attacked by way of a broken golden record across the head, courtesy of The Hallstars. Noise Pollution and The Hellcats will face off in Suffolk, each looking to come out on top after their most recent outings.

Making their debuts in VCW will be “The Human Terminator” Marcellus Prime and “The Demolition Man” Napalm Bomb. Prime, a former U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate, previously teamed with Napalm Bomb in a team known as Black Wallstreet. Opting to break off on their own, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top and impresses VCW management in their debut.

Also announced for the event is The Juggernaut taking on Irvin Legend. This will be a rematch from the March 11 Hampton event, where Juggernaut got the victory after only a minute. Though the size advantage clearly goes to Juggernaut, perhaps Legend will employ a different strategy to secure his first win in VCW.

The Salvation Army Community Center is located at 400 Bank Street in Suffolk. The meet and greet with Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake begins at 6 p.m., and the wrestling action kicks off at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting VCW-Wrestling.com.
